Updates on Claire Davis condition are being disclosed as she has been critically wounded and in a coma after being shot by Karl Halverson Pierson this past Friday. The family has released a statement welcoming the outpouring of prayers and support for their beloved daughter and promise updates as her condition improves.
Further details indicate that Claire Davis and the shooter Karl Halverson did not know each other and that the shooting is considered a random act of violence. However, Karl Halverson did seem to have an intended target in mind but no one knows exactly why he shot possibly would have shot Claire Davis.
Karl Halverson entered the Arapahoe High School looking to take possible revenge on a teacher/librarian who was the head of the debate team at the school. Apparently the two had differences back in September. But reports suggested that the librarian left that part of the building at the time of the incident.
At this point there is no new information on what might have propelled Karl Halverson to commit this terrible act of violence and we may never know exactly why he did, as he quickly shot himself soon after critically shooting Claire Davis in the head area.
Did Karl Halverson have a Twitter account or leave any suggestions of his motives somewhere posted onto a social media network? At this point there seems to be no indication that he had a Twitter account that can be verified at this time.
