What Time Does The 2013 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Start?

 

This will be the 86th Anniversary of the famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and promises to keep the tradition fresh by adding several more floats and balloons to the lineup. The parade will also feature a new route down Sixth Avenue.

So what time does the 2012 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade start or begins?  The broadcast kicks off at 9:00 a.m. EST.

What channel will the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade be on?  The parade will be broadcast live on NBC on November 22, 2012.

More time conversions: 8:00 a.m. Central Time, 7:00 a.m. Mountain Time, 6:00 a.m. Pacific Time and 5:00 a.m. Alaskan time.

  1. Floats: Big Apple, Gift of Freedom, Bridge To The Future, Smurf Mushroom Float, Snoopy’s Dog House, Dora’s Christmas Carols Adventure, 1-2-3 Sesame Street, Tom Turkey, True Spirit of Thanksgiving, Fall Frozen Fun, and Christmas in Central Park.
  2. Balloons: Kermit the Frog, Spongebob Squarepants, Spider-Man, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Kung Fu Panda, Pikachu, and the popular Sonic the Hedgehog.
  3. Novelty Balloons: Pumpkins, Uncle Sam, Harold the Policeman, Football, Red Candy Cane, and Big Man Santa.
